Why Do People Give Up Their Vote?

I was on a forum where people were actually willing to settle for a presidential candidate. On one forum, no one could find anything good about the Republican candidate qualifications. Because the whites don't want to claim this intelligent man, the Blacks will. He is the face of America-both Black & White. How many candidates can say that? He is African-American-father from Africa and mother from America. Barack's mother, Ann Durham, grew up in small-town Kansas. He's educated-He went on to earn his law degree from Harvard in 1991, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. Family values-he been married once with children. Why would Americans settle because they think the old white Republican may win? At least find out the facts before throwing in the towel!!
